Commercial AV services across London and the South East
We are based in East Sussex and carry out audio visual installations across East Sussex, Kent, Surrey, London and the wider South East.
We work in offices and boardrooms, public buildings, churches and heritage buildings, restaurants and hospitality venues, schools and education, bars, clubs and high-end homes.
The system depends on the building. A boardroom has very different requirements from a church, restaurant, nightclub or public venue, so we survey the site before deciding what equipment and infrastructure it needs.
One team for the systems that need to work together
Sound, screens, lighting, control, cabling and networking often form part of the same project.
We can design these together rather than treating each one as a separate installation. That means cable routes, equipment positions, containment and controls can be agreed before the fit-out reaches second fix.
Where electrical work is also required, we work alongside our sister company Lake Electrical. This allows the AV, lighting and electrical installation to be planned as part of the same project.
Home Cinema systems
We design and install home cinema, media rooms and multi-room audio for larger homes.
The work can include projection or large-format displays, surround sound, architectural speakers, control, lighting and acoustic treatment.
We can work with the architect, interior designer and electrical contractor from the early stages of a renovation or new build, particularly where speakers, cabling and equipment need to be hidden within the finished room.
AV installations
We design and install commercial AV systems for meeting rooms, boardrooms, offices, public buildings, hospitality venues, education sites and other commercial buildings.
This can include displays, projection, video conferencing, microphones, distributed audio, background music, digital signage, streaming and control systems.
For new builds and refurbishments, we can work from the architect’s drawings and get involved before first fix so the cabling, equipment positions and containment are planned into the building.
Venue Lighting
We design and install lighting systems for bars, clubs, restaurants, live venues, churches and other buildings that need more than standard room lighting.
This can include stage and performance lighting, moving heads, lighting control and programmed scenes for venues that are used in different ways throughout the day or evening.
We look at the lighting alongside the sound, screens and room layout so the systems work together.
Where the project also requires electrical alterations or additional power, we can coordinate this with Lake Electrical.
Loop hearing systems
We design, install and commission hearing loop systems for churches, public buildings, theatres, reception areas, meeting rooms and other venues.
The building itself affects how a loop performs. Steelwork, floor construction and nearby rooms can all affect coverage, so we survey the site and design the system around the area that needs to be covered.
Once installed, we test the system across the listening area rather than simply checking that the equipment is operating. Where rooms sit close together, we also consider overspill so the signal stays within the area it is intended to cover.
PA and voice alarm systems
We design and install public address and voice alarm systems for commercial buildings, public venues and larger sites.
For a PA system, the priority is clear and even sound across the areas that need it. For voice alarm, speech needs to remain understandable when the system is being used to communicate important information. We look at the room, background noise, reverberation and required coverage before specifying loudspeaker positions and equipment.
Systems are installed, commissioned and documented as part of the completed project.
Acoustic treatment
We provide acoustic treatment for restaurants, meeting rooms, venues, cinemas and other rooms where reverberation or background noise is affecting how the room sounds. Sometimes changing the loudspeakers will not solve the problem. If the room itself is creating too much reflection, acoustic treatment can improve speech clarity and make music easier to listen to without simply increasing the volume.
We can consider acoustics as part of a new fit-out or look at an existing room where the sound is not working as it should.

AV networking and control
Modern AV systems rely heavily on network infrastructure.
On larger installations, we can provide a dedicated network for the AV equipment so displays, audio, conferencing and control systems are not dependent on the day-to-day traffic running across the main office network. This also gives us better access to system information when support is needed and can make faults easier to diagnose.
The AV network forms part of the installation rather than being offered as a separate IT service.
Equipment specified for the job
We are an installation company rather than an online equipment retailer.
We work with established professional audio, visual, lighting and control manufacturers and specify equipment according to the building, required performance and budget.
If you already have a particular product or manufacturer in mind, we can discuss whether it suits the room and the wider system before it is specified.
The important part is not simply which equipment is installed, but whether it has been designed and commissioned for the building it is going into.

Do you survey the site before quoting
Yes.
For installation work, we visit the site so we can understand the room, existing infrastructure and what you need the finished system to do.
For new builds and refurbishments, we can also work from architects’ drawings before the building is ready for a full site survey.
Can you work with our architect or main contractor?
Yes.
A large part of our work is carried out as part of wider construction and refurbishment projects.
We can work from drawings and specifications, provide the information needed for first fix and coordinate our installation with the project programme and other trades.
Can you provide several AV services on the same project?
Yes.
We can combine AV, sound, lighting, hearing loops, acoustics and control where they are required in the same building.
Where electrical work is also involved, our sister company Lake Electrical can work alongside us.
Do you supply equipment without installation?
Our main business is system design and installation rather than equipment-only sales.
We specify the products as part of the complete system so we can make sure they are suitable for the building, installed correctly and commissioned as intended.
